It took a little modification of the brackets to fit just right, but the end result was fully worth it! First ride was 40 miles on the highway into a 25 mph headwind, and it was the most comfortable ride I’ve had in a long time. I would highly recommend this windscreen for any FZ 07 rider looking for a good touring windscreen that’s doesn’t look out of place on a street bike.
It’s perfect! I have been looking for one of these quite some time and could not find one in the United States! I love it! I would definitely buy it again! Highly recommended!
I recently ordered the GP Kompozit Adjustable Rear Luggage Rack & Phone / Navigation / GPS Holder Bracket and managed to install them without too much trouble.
The quality of both items is excellent. They look and feel very strong and sturdy.
Because the luggage rack has two parts that slide in&out, I could hear the metal rattling but it disappeared once I’ve installed the platform and top box.
I love the rack’s design. When contracted it sits on top of the back seat and when extended, you can access the storage area.
As for the customer service team, they were very responsive and helpful. I thought the phone holder bracket was one long bar and couldn’t find it in the package. Little did I know, it came in 3 pieces and was indeed in it.
I bought a set of these back in January 2023 from a UK reseller who did include a set of instructions, which I then helped him to edit. They aren't overly complicated to fit as long as you can remove and refit the necessary engine mounting bolts, remembering to torque them correctly. Unfortunately this is not so easy if the bike is a few years old and threads have seized but I got there.
These bars effectively protected my bike and especially my legs during several little incidents over the years, keeping the weight of the bike from trapping and crushing my leg as it did with the much smaller honda bars. Unfortunately they and the bike are now broken following a collision with a driver who suddenly turned left when I was already beside his car. The do pass in front of the forks so if they get twisted they stop the bars rotating fully, but with so many solid anchoring points if you manage to twist this then you might not want to ride on anyway! Would consider buying again for the next bike.
Very good quality. Strong, robuste and it fits perfectly my 2017 Crosstourer VFR1200X. Do not hésitante, this is a perfect element.
